Prior to December 2020, the children living at the Arrows of God Orphanage, Ajah, Lagos, had no choice than to use the brown water that flowed from their taps. This was in direct contradiction to the United Nation’s SDG 6 which is aimed towards providing “clean water and sanitation”. Struggling with thinly stretched resources to cater for the over 70 children living in the orphanage, it was not clear when or if availability of clean water will be a reality at the orphanage. At least not until ‘Biodun and Ibikunle Foundation in partnership with Avale Africa decided to step up to the challenge.

Bringing in our signature 200% commitment and dedication, it took just seven (7) days for a new, clean water supply system to be installed at the Arrows of God Orphanage. The project was launched December 21, bringing relief to and improving the quality of health of the occupants of the orphanage.

Below are some pictures of the project.
